Raphinha continued his sensational form by scoring a hat-trick as Barcelona thrashed Racing Santander 7-2 at Camp Nou to maintain their perfect La Liga record.
The Brazil international has now scored 11 goals in all competitions, including nine in the league, guiding Hansi Flick’s team to six consecutive domestic wins.
Barcelona’s attacking machinery has operated at unprecedented efficiency this season. Flick’s side has scored five or more goals in five of their seven matches across all competitions, amassing a staggering 33 goals overall.
João Cancelo opened the scoring in the eighth minute with a sublime 20-yard strike before Raphinha doubled the advantage from the penalty spot. Racing briefly pulled a goal back through Maguette Gueye, but Cancelo’s deflected effort by Villalibre made it 3-1 before Raphinha added a fourth.
Penalty drama and late flourish round off seven-goal spectacle
Lamine Yamal had a penalty saved by Julen Agirrezabala on the stroke of halftime, leaving the score at 4–1 heading into the interval. Racing came out fighting in the second period and found a second goal in the 65th minute when Yassir Zabiri scored to reduce the deficit to 4–2.
However, Barcelona responded immediately, winning their third penalty of the night just two minutes later.

Raphinha stepped up to complete his hat-trick with a cool finish for Barca’s fifth. Yamal then set up substitute Gabriel Jesus for the sixth before Yamal himself capped off the 7–2 rout in the 89th minute.
The win also means Flick became the first Barça manager to win the club’s opening seven competitive games of a campaign.
